Now
Company is currently and firmly implanted in the heart of the Equestrian District of Los Angeles. Watch out for horses, as they will trot by in the alley. There is great Cuban food down the street and a fine little liquor store on the corner. The center of the building is pure recording studio, while the back houses a small, but highly functional art studio occupied by painter and printmaker Carrie Rose, The front is an audio production suite (formerly Luke Ehret's production space, and currently on lockout by Stephen Becker).
There are no barriers to creativity (outside your own, of course). Things happen here quickly, so the ideas can flow. Rough where it wants to be, and tight where it needs to be. Analog for the sound, digital for the speed. This is the present future of the recording studio of the past. A New Studio Paradigm. Here's to the future.

company dropped the 'a' back in 2001 or so. You can search for it now...comp-ny. It has been an umbrella of creativity since 1994 where it began in Ann Arbor, Michigan in the form of a practice space/ design and screenprinting space / recording studio. In 2001, company relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue this idea. The new energy center was found in 2003.
The homeland studio occupied a space in The Technology Center building in Ann Arbor from 1994-2001. Here it is burning to the ground:
